What is Taketime?
Taketime offers free, Bible based, Christ centred, mindfulness meditations which use simple, focused prayer.
Accessible to everyone—especially those exploring faith—these guided meditations, originally inspired by Saint Ignatius, help you to both speak and listen to God. In this way they help with spiritual growth and stress reduction.
Joining a local or online Taketime group also enables you to develop spiritually as part of a safe and welcoming community, which focuses on scripture and experience, not doctrine.
Originally developed in a prison chaplaincy context, these Christian meditations are now also used extensively in Churches, Schools, Prisons, Hospitals, Hospices and Later-life Chaplaincies as well as in spiritual exploration, discipleship and development.
